Welcome to the blog! We would love to get more information in your bio which is the strip below your picture. What 1/2 are you targeting, is it your first?

Welcome to FRB! I look forward to reading your report from the half.

Good luck in the half, wherever it is! Hopefully it's somewhere in Florida and you'll only have to worry about hurricanes and maybe a little rain... not snow and high winds. Welcome to the blog.

I'll be running the Gasparilla half-marathon in Tampa this Sunday.

This will be my last long race for a while as I will focus on 5k's. My only goal for this race is to run a sub 1:36 so I can move up from the C to the B start group in the Chicago Marathon. It looks like the weather might corporate this year. Race start should be in the low 50's (in FL we worry about it being too hot/humid)

Oh I didn't know that the big races did that for start times? I had heard about wave starts and stuff. But does Boston do that as well then?

Hi, this is the "real" Mark, lol!

Welcome to the blog, I saw the comments because my blog address was entered above. Good luck at Gasparilla. I'm going to be running it also but at a slower pace. I did Chicago this past fall and think that is definitely a smart move to try to move from C to B.

Good to see another Florida person here. I live up in the New Port Richey area.

Welcome - good luck in your upcoming race.
